National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (or NEET-UG) is a pen-paper based entrance examination for students who want to study any undergraduate or postgraduate course in government or private medical colleges across India. The exam is composed of 180 objective-type questions (four options with a single correct answer). The Question Paper for the test is based on a Common Syllabus notified by the Medical Council of India since 2013. Duration of the exam is three hours. CBSE NEET can be attempted up to nine times by a candidate belonging to the unreserved category and 14 times for a reserved category.
