How many marks required to qualify NEET?

According to Central Board of Secondary Education/CBSE, 50th percentile is required to qualify the entrance exam. For SC/ST/OBC student 40th percentile and for Physically Handicapped students 45th percentile is required. So according to the previous results a general category student needs 130 marks to qualify for the neet 2017.


Is NEET necessary for studying MBBS in abroad?

YES, NEET is necessary for studying MBBS in abroad. Previously NEET marks were not needed to study in abroad. But, according to recent updates from Union Health Ministry/UHM, neet will be compulsory for students who wish to study MBBS in universities abroad.

When will CBSE result be announced?

NEET/National Eligibility cum Entrance Test will be conducted in May 2018 under the guidelines set by the National Medical Commission. Results for the entrance exam will be declared on June 2018. What is the difference between percentile and percentage?

Often there is confusion between the terms percentage and percentile. A percentage is the ratio of the marks obtained upon the total number of marks multiplied by 100. Whereas Percentile is your position compared to the students that lesser marks than yours. For example, considering previous results if your marks are 130 then your percentile is 50.


Can I get admission in MBBS abroad without NEET?

After giving NEET 2018 in May you will not be able to get admission in abroad universities without NEET. However, some universities in Georgia and Philippines are giving admission for MBBS without neet marks but in the period of February 2018 and March 2018 only. So if you want to get admission in MBBS abroad without the NEET marks, you’ll have to hurry up.

  1. If I get 108 marks in neet then can I apply for abroad education and secondly if I don’t want to practice at all in India then are these marks sufficient for practicing abroad ?

    1. I think you will not be able to qualify with this marks, so you will not be able to get MCI eligibility
      but yes you can take admission abroad without MCI eligibility so you can practise there
