Kursk State Medical University

Kursk State Medical University is a government medical university of higher education in medical sciences situated in the Kursk city of Ukraine. It is also called by its aliases, namely: Kursk State Medical Institute; KSMU; KurskGMU; KurskSMU; Kursk State Government Medical University. The university is listed in the World Health Organisation’s list of best world medical schools and also in the International Medical education directory provided by FAIMER.

How good is the campus structure?

The University has trained over 25,000 medical practitioners. The training is carried out by 14 departments have trained over 5000 students. Each year, more than 700 applicants apply for university admissions from foreign soils. KSMU employs 633 teachers, 92 doctors and 333 candidates of science, and other academies, including international ones. The campus has standard university facilities with gym and medical clinics.

It has several departments including faculty for general medicine, pediatrics, pharmacy, biotechnology, dentistry and faculty for foreign students.
