What is the eligibility criteria for Indian students?
In addition to the eligibility criteria for taking admission in MBBS courses in China, the Indian students are required to produce and submit some additional documents in order to take admission. Indian students should possess some important documents in order to take admission. These essential documents are Student Undertaking and Indemnity form. Also, the applicant should have obtained 70% marks in the 12th standard examination regardless of the board of examination. Students belonging reserved categories are eligible to have 60% marks in aggregate in the 12th standard examination.

Recently, it was reported that the Indian Government has made it mandatory for an applicant to take and qualify the NEET examination in order to study medical sciences abroad. This step as the experts said, would not only improve the quality of students who are pursuing medical studies abroad but also help to filter the best candidates in the run for pursuing medical courses out of India. This notification has come into effect since and has been listed in the Information Bulletin for NEET 2018-19 session to take admission in MBBS/BDS courses, issued by the CBSE. NEET will be held on May 6 this year.
