What is the minimum percentile for all the categories?

The table below has the details to the minimum percentile that each category has to attain in order to be eligible to pursue MBBS.

The Unreserved category has to score 50th percentile as a minimum to get admission in MBBS. Not to forget, the cut off marks for the Unreserved category is 119 marks. The no. of candidates from the Unreserved category is 6,34,897.

The Unreserved Physically Handicapped (UR-PH) has to get score minimum 45th Percentile in order to pursue MBBS. The cut off marks for the Unreserved Physically Handicapped is 107 with 205 candidates qualifying the exam this year.

The students belonging to the Scheduled Caste category have to score 40th percentile to be eligible to pursue MBBS. The cut off marks for this category is 96 marks. While there were 17, 209 students qualifying the exam from this category.

The students belonging to the Scheduled Tribe category have to score 40th percentile in order to be eligible to pursue MBBS. The cut off marks for this category is 96 marks. While there were 7,446 students qualifying the exam from this category.

The students belonging to the OBC (Other backward class) category have to score 40th percentile in order to be eligible to pursue MBBS. The cut off marks for this category is 96 marks. While there were 54,653 students qualifying the exam from this category.

The students belonging to the Scheduled Caste (Physically-Handicapped) category have to score 40th percentile in order to be eligible to pursue MBBS. The cut off marks for this category is 96 marks. While there were 36 students qualifying the exam from this category.

The students belonging to the Scheduled Tribe (Physically-Handicapped) category have to score 40th percentile in order to be eligible to pursue MBBS. The cut off marks for this category is 96 marks. While there were 12 students qualifying the exam from this category.

What is the latest news on MBBS 2018?

According to The Times of India,

June 29, 2018: Now, the counselling process for MBBS and BDS seats for the KNRUHS (Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences) will take place in Telangana on June 30.
