NEET / NEET-UG ( National Eligibility cum Entrance Test ) is an entrance examination. NEET is given by MBBS or BDS aspiring students for both government or private medical colleges in India. NEET-UG is conducted by the CBSE ( Central Board of Secondary Education). AIPMT ( All India Pre Medical Test ) and all individual MBBS exams conducted by states or colleges were replaced by the NEET-UG in 2013. Still, many colleges and institutes conducted private examinations for admission to their MBBS and BDS courses. Last NEET entrance exam ( NEET 2017 ) was held on 7th may and NEET results were declared on 23rd May. NEET RESULT 2018 will be released in the month of June 2018.The courses are offered by various government and private colleges of India. NEET Result 2018

Neet 2018 candidates will be able to check their result through online process only. The merit list will be prepared of eligible candidates on the basis of NEET result. Candidates will be shortlisted and called for the NEET 2018 counselling process on the basis of merit list only.
NEET cut-off marks to qualify the NEET exam will be –
50% (For General category) and 40% (For Reserved Category). The answer key is released before the announcement of the NEET result. It helps the candidates to estimate the minimum score they secured in the entrance exam.

NEET Result Declaration Date

The NEET entrance exam is organized through pen & paper mode only.The NEET result is declared after 1 month of the NEET entrance exam . The NEET result 2018 will be declared around the first week of June 2018. The rank letter will be released in the first week of July 2018. The counselling procedure will start after the declaration of the result.

How to Check the NEET Result?

-Open the neet official website –
-The result tab will be visible.
-Enter your roll number, date of birth & verification code.
-Click on the “Submit” button.
-NEET Result / NEET-UG will be displayed on the screen.
-The candidates are recommended to take a print out of the result.

NEET Counselling 2018

Candidates who will score the marks under the released cut-off will be able to participate in the counselling process. NEET 2018 Counselling will start from the first week of July 2018. Counselling process will be conducted through online process only. Counselling for 15% All India Quota Seats (MBBS/BDS) will be regulated by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Candidates have to choose their preferences of colleges for admission. Seats will be allotted to candidates as per filled preferences, secured rank and availability of seats in colleges.


NEET 2018 Admission Process

The candidate participates in the counselling process after the declaration of NEET Result followed by the admissions. The admission process will start in the month of July. Candidates have to participate in the counselling process conducted by their state medical admission authorities.
The NEET exam is of total 720 marks. Candidates obtaining marks below 500 and above 300 are not able to get admission in good MBBS government colleges in India. These candidates prefer MBBS from Abroad MBBS in China, MBBS in Russia, MBBS in Philippines, MBBS in Georgia etc. They can apply and get admission in abroad for MBBS,  complete the MBBS and then give FMGE To practice in India.
