According to The Hindu dated, July 2nd 2018:

Tamil Nadu: The first phase of counselling for MBBS and BDS seats falling under the state quota began on Sunday for all the candidates belonging to the special category. Total 40 seats were allotted, of which 38 seats were of medical colleges and two in dental colleges.125 seats were kept aside of candidates with a disability, but only 30 applications were obtained by the selection Committee of Dr. MGR Medical University, Tamil Nadu.
