EDUCATION IN IRELAND

The education system in Ireland is one of the best in the world. Irish education has the highest international quality.
Education system in Ireland is divided into three levels
- Primary Education- (for 8 years)
- Secondary Education -consists of junior cycle (Years 1-3); Transition (Year 4); and Senior cycle (Years 5-6).
- Tertiary Education- offers a wide range of opportunities from post-Secondary courses, to vocational and technical training, to full degree and the post-graduate level degree.
Primary Education Level
The primary education system emphasizes a child-centered approach and allows for flexibility in timetabling and teaching methods. English is the main language of instruction which help to live their lives to the fullest capacity appropriate to their particular stage of development.
Secondary Education Level
The second-level education sector in Ireland comprises secondary Schools, Vocational, Community and Comprehensive Schools .These schools are mainly differ on the basis of administration and sources funding.
Tertiary Education Level
Third Level Education System in Ireland is broad in scope and encompasses the University sector, the technical and technological colleges and the colleges of education are included in the third level education. They are substantially funded by the State but are autonomous and self-governing.
