What is Neet(National Eligibility Entrance Test)?
–Like every competitive exams Neet is also creating aversion and fear among the students. All India pre-medical Test is known as Neet. Neet is an exam conducted for students who want to pursue their career in Medical field( Admission to undergraduate MBBS and BDS courses in private and government colleges ) . This exam result also helps in allotting colleges to the students. Exams requires knowledge about Physics, chemistry, and biology(botany and zoology) . Exam is conducted in nine languages in India. NEET Exam 2018 will be held on May 6, 2018, from 10 am to 1 pm. CBSE is conducting NEET UG 2018 in 150 cities. Students get good 3 hours for attempting the exam. In which students are provided 180 number of questions and maximum marks is 720. Questions are divided into 4 sets, each set consist of 45 questions for 180 marks. MCQ type of questions are asked. There is also negative marking in NEET exam. If candidate marks an incorrect answer, 1 mark is deducted for that. In other words, -1 is negative marking in NEET 2018. +4 is allotted for every correct answer. To be eligible for MBBS and BDS admisison on basis of NEET 2018, a student must obtain minimum of marks at 50th percentile in NEET exam. If candidate belongs to SC / ST / OBC category then minimum marks at 45th percentile is qualifying cut off. For someone with locomotory disability of lower limbs, 45th percentile is cut off. CBSE will determine percentile on basis of NEET all India level medical / dental entrance exam highest marks.
